My Summer Gem

An ever-so-sweet album find - The Silver Seas - Chateau Revenge!

Formerly known as the Bees, The Silver Seas are a rock/alternative group with some smooth sounds.

Cat Powers - Perfect Writing Music

The sometimes erratic, yet extremely talented Cat Powers is not a stranger to my playlist, but my iPod doesn't seem to like her very much. She never comes up on my shuffle.

One of my biffles, Molly Von, sent me a link to Cat's song from her album "You Are Free."

It's nice to listen to this while I'm writing all of my press releases too.. keeps my attention.

I'll do this a lot. I love music - all types, all sounds. Except country, not a big fan.

Anyway, I always walk to a soundtrack. Sometimes a couple songs will be on repeat... maybe annoyingly so..

This is my newest obsession - Marina and the Diamonds!

She has been compared to Florence and the Machine, who I also love, but there is something about "I Am Not A Robot" - I'm hooked. (Thanks Sully)

Tune into "Toddlers & Tiaras" on TLC and see a bunch of young kids between the ages of 4 and 10 with MTV Jersey Shore spray tans and Vaseline on their bleached veneers whining and throwing tantrums. Tune into "The Soup" to skip the fussing and attitude (or in this case "diva-tude") and move right to the good stuff.
